I have a new pair of slippers! Well, not really. I bought this from Taiwan and I decided to give it a try since I have another one in my storeroom and no one is using them. I wouldn't say they are really comfy but I guess can't be too demanding right?
I was on the bus back home from school when I saw something interesting. An old uncle was sitted 2 seats infront of me. He was having this perpetual coughing. It continued for a few times before the lady sitted infront of me (directly behind him) offered him a packet of Fisher'smen Fresh sweet. And guess what, the lady was a Muslim.
This act of kindness kind of touched me, especially when it came from someone from another ethnic group. I believe most people who just change to another seat or simply ignore the old man. If it was you, would you have offered your sweet to the old uncle? Even when he is of a different skin colour from you? Perhaps this is what multi racial Singapore is...
