"Ringing..." My phone rang when I was at the bus stop, all geared up to go to work. I guessed I must have missed it as all I saw in my phone was a message from my boss informing me that I could stay at home.

Honestly, I was glad. Considering the previous night of fun, I could sure do with a few more hours of sleep. Hym... But deep down inside I kind of wished I had to go to work. Haha... ANyway, I must really thank Uncle Birdy as he really did his best to get me on the sea trial. He actually questioned my boss as to why I'm not included in the trial. I'm grateful.

This weekend has perhaps been the second best weekend since I started my internship. Did pretty much all that I set out to achieve. Chilled out and did my hair cut at a heartland salon. Perhaps my expectation wasn't high which accounted for my indifference towards my current hair state.

I also watched "Wanted". I absolutely loved the movie - the gore, action, theme, everything... For those that have yet to catch the show, please do so. Seems like I have been blessed with good movies this year round. Haha... Must be my limited list of movies seen this year round.

Was really planning to go home when the spontaneous idea of making a trip to EXPO came up. Great the hear that there is a book fair as well as the John Little Mega Sale. I guess I did my part in the GSS, although my norminal contribution was nothing, but norminal. Got myself a couple of books. I must start picking up my reading habits again!

In summary, satisfied but TIRED.

Ngor hoei gei cheung pak tor...28/06/08

Been working till quite late these few days. Gonna miss Uncle Birdy and Harri when they go off to work on Hull 328 which by then, I would have more or less completed my internship. I honestly had a wonderful time following them around. =(

Won't be going on sea trial which I think is good too. At least I get to laze around for a bit. *Fingers crossed* Though I would rather be a part of it but I guess, it's destined.

Hym... alittle !@#^&# over the issue, but I guess I'll be fine. Afterall, it was made clear right from the start.

I had a great session. Impromptu dinner and everything. Er... I think I know where most singaporeans frequent: T3! Glad to meet Gary at he Airport. Miss the old and dumb jokes I shared with him back in army. Haha... He's always so cheerful!

So tired!!!! Just wanna catch some sleep. Haiz... And I stilll got to go to work tmr! I'm indeed the best intern recipient if there is one in the first place!

Anyway, I dislike the choices that I have to make these days. It sucks! I've lost what I have owned in the first place. You should know better...

2 kg... 24/06/08

I lost 2 kg since working at Keppel. Haha... I'm speechless...

Anyway, think I clocked a record high on the number of OT hours that an intern has ever clocked. I hope to reap the monetary returns soon. I still have to endure for a few more days before seeing that. I hope to endure till then.

Been staying up late for the past few days. Been working on my report. Think I have kind of finished it. Shall get my mentor to vet through it and get my log sheet signed.

Oh! I need to cut my hair this coming weekend. *URGENT*

My Toe... 23/06/08

I think I kind of broke my left toe... It's been hurting sometime. Thought it would go away but I guess I'm wrong...

Did half of my report. Got to work on it. Got to try to finish it by tomorrow...

HUngry... Shall go snack and zzZZ...

T.I.R.E.D... 22/06/08

Was supposed to post this yesterday but I was just too tired to do anything... Anyway, I did OT till 11pm yesterday. I wasn't really doing anything then, more like standing in one corner with Harris, looking at how the guys took 4 hours to hoist a mega tonne thrusters onto the ship. It's like giant Lego is you are to ask me.

Harris burnt me a CD with all the Finland photos. Pretty cool! Here's some of them...

Cancelled all my appointments the day before but I was glad to make up for them today. Went to catch Zohan. Not a bad show if you are looking for some cheap laughs. However, the show does has some pertinent messages that it tries to convey to the public.

Oh! I bought 3 lions... MerLions as small gifts to the folks from STeerprop. Hope I have the chance to pass them to the folks. I also did some retail therapy and I finally get to fulfill my little promise to a friend. Er... you don't have to "WEAR IT EVERYDAY"... haha...

Anyway, I got a 7 pages report due at the end of this week. Haiz...

Least sweat day... 19/06/08

Spent most of my time in the wheel house today so didn't sweat much. For those that have no idea where that is, it's actually the deck where the captain controls the vessel on. Pretty interesting with all the expensive instruments to meddle with. Learnt quite some stuff from Uncle Birdy and Harri today. Had é chance to go down to the dry dock too. I snapped a few pictures which i'm not supposed to. Haha... Will think of a way to post them. Sleepy... Die another day...

Been a day... 18/06/08

Been an avid reader of Kelvin's blog. Let me quote what he has written...

Anyway, I totally agree with what Kelvin has said. I believe in fate and that it is responsible for bringing people together. As for what brings people apart, I think it's a combination of both parties' actions... It is pretty much not the escalation of any individual's actions alone. The point I am tryin to make is, it is not easy to get to know someone, treasure what we have while we can coz we are not sure what will happen in near future... At least that's how I reckon.

Had a long long day @ work. I'm too lazy to blog about it. Just wanna say that it has been a long long day. And the ordeal of hearing the ... continues...

Seems like a friend of mine is on cloud 9! =P

Won't say I am too. Perhaps cloud 1? Had a rather fruitful day at work. Hot, sweaty as usual but satisfaction level was high.

I got myself a new pen pal(collective noun) from the States(proper noun). Interesting! Shall see how long it can last. Oh! I still owe Take the photo... Band of sisters, get ready to gear up!

I survived one day without my old boss. Not tryin to sound mushy or anything but i actually kind of missed him. I wonder how i survived lingering around... I believe more to come...

There are many things in my mind that's left undone...

1.Like i've successfully skipped swimming for the 6th time.

2.My interim report is due next week.

3.No follow up from my one and only student.

4.Bills to pay for my citi bank card.

5.Photo which i promised to send to Take.

6.The 3rd language which i'll never ever pick up.

7.The trip which will never materialised.

8.The cough that just won't go away.

9.The hunger that will never leave me alone... The list goes on...

I think it's the time of month where i need sometime alone... Maybe i should start going to fuo2 tang2 with my Mum. Maybe it's é air that's making me insane...

Yup! My boss had his official last day in Keppel last Saturday. He brought his cam along and snapped these photos. Haha...

Well, the 2 caucasians are the people from Steerprop that does the thrusters you see in many vessels. They are from Finland! And the guy sitting beside me? Tht's Uncle Birdy. He is old enough to be my dad and the best thing is, he takes good care of me during these few days we have been together.

Well, I guess you would have noticed by now, the guy in the right in the first photo is my boss. He's going UK for his studies soon. Guess I'm gonna miss sticking to him for my remaining days at Keppel SIngamarine. Haha... He actually invitied me to stay with his during this weekend back at his home town. It was kind of last min ya? But honestly, I was tempted to! Hope there's another chance to that.

ANyway, I had a great session with my folks at Downtown East. It was a great chance to chill out and catch up with any of my folks. The rides @ Escape was pretty much the peak of the whole event. Many thanx to Veron and Pirate CHan for everything!

Had a great show today. Glad to have free tickets to the Hulk. Can't really say i'm lookin forward to it but the show was definitely a pleasant surprise and entertaining one.

Seems like i'm enjoyin almost all the movies i've been watchin this year round and that's great news!

Just realise that i haven't been learning something new lately. Of cause i'm learning a couple of new things here and there at work, it just doesn't feel enriching and this spells trouble. My mind is deteriorating? I think i should consider picking up a language or something.

I finally know the name to the building in the picture above. Yes, go ahead and laugh at my ignorance. It's the Chrysler Building. I really hope one day I get to visit the big @pple.

Dead or Alive? ...10/06/08

For those of you that thought i was dead, you are half right and for those who thought otherwise, you're not wrong either. It has been one hell of a week for me as i struggled to keep myself alive while i battled with coloured individuals for my air trunking. All i wanna do is just breathe and stay alive. It's very complicated and i won't dwell on it...

Would you rather be on top the opening or at the bottom? I was gasping for air when I was working today and almost missed the beautiful sky above me. When one's vision is limited, whatever it presented to you is beautiful... ANyway, back to my earlier question, I would rather not be on top or bottom of H328 Multiple Purpoe Ice Breaker on which this picture is taken, at least not in the state that it is in right now. No one knows the reason more clearly than I do, except for my mentor.

Yes, I've been coughing for almost a week. I've missed my swimming lessons for a total of 2 months and I have yet to visit the gym as I planned. Everything that I have planned to achieve during my holidays pretty much went... into thin air. *Haiz*

Takeshi sent me a parcel a few days ago. Well, as promised, there was my summer yukata, along with 2 others for Lorraine and Veron! Well, I guess we have our outfits for this year's summer fest if we are going. = )

We'll be taking a photo of all of us in yukata when Lorraine is back plus Mich too! I'm gonna send the picture to Takeshi!
