Hi to all!
Apologies for not updating my blog. Ha...
Anyway, as yr 2009 comes to an end and we welcome 2010 with open arms, let me recall what are the significant times for the past yr...
Thought for a brief moment as I rummage thr my memories in search of them. I think these are the 3 memorable moments of 2009, ranked in no order of importance.
1. Finished my Bachelor degree from NUS...
I can still remember how arduous the journey, esp thr the last sem where I was really really busy with my FYP. The numerous days of anxiety, waiting for a miracle that the devices which I
had fabricated would function properly and generate the results that I badly needed...
Glad to say, I stormed thr it all. Happy and felt fortunate...
2. Fortunate to have landed myself on a job...
To be honest, I was really worried sick abt getting a job as the economy wasn't doing well. In fact, it was in recession. All hopes of getting a high starting pay job was dashed as I read reports on the job mkt prior to my graduation.
I guess my prayers were answered as I got hired as a Sales Engineer at Daikin even before I finish my final exams. Was feeling sore as I didn't manage to go for a grad trip unlike many of my friends but I was definitely happy to have a source of income...
Well, shortly after, I changed my job to my present one.
Apart from better prospects, I also got to know a bunch of excellent colleagues... We call ourselves, RSGT... Ha...
I'm learning new stuff abt everyone and, looking fwd to gaining deeper and stronger r/s with each and everyone of them...
Most of all, I must work hard to achieve what I have set forth for myself...
3. Overseas trips... esp Japan...
Hym... As I consider further, one of the best moments would be the many trips that I have traveled in the past one year. Guess I kind of had my grad trip only after I have worked for a while... I work for what I want ya?!
The best of the trips would definitely be Japan. Never thought that I would visit the land of the rising sun anytime soon but this was undoubtedly, a trip I will always remember.

@ Mt. Fuji

Takeshi-san & I at Todaiji Temple, Nara

Frolicking in the snow @ Hakuba
If I can afford, I would like to travel at least once every year as I believe this helps in broadening one's horizon and appreciate the finer things in life...
In any case, Japan trip was a rewarding one especially when I met up with Takeshi-san. Looking forward to welcoming him in near future.
As year 2009 comes to an end, I also made some resolutions of my own...

Last but not the least, Happy New Year to all my friends!
