Day 01, Taipei 29/07/07

Day 01

As I speak now, I am physically in Taipei!! Yup, finally, I am finally in Taipei!!
Happy and elated, you BET!

I can’t really sleep for the whole of last night(meaning the night before I fly for Taipei). Not because I was feeling hungry in the night for I had a sumptuous dinner at Tao restaurant but due to the fact that I was too excited about the trip. I only managed to grab about 4 or at most 5 hours of sleep at best. Still, I am happy! *weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

The flight to Taipei was quite long, at least to me. It was about 5 or 6 hours. I managed to stay alive without food for more than 3 hours. Can you believe you? Haha… I guess the beautiful scenery from the airplane window made up for it. I think I know what the meaning of “on cloud 9” is now. ^o^

Oh! It was a pleasant surprise to meet my Swiss junior, Tze Hui, when I was at Changi Airport. And guess what, we happened to be on the same plane to Taipei! HoHo…
She is leaving one day earlier than I and her itinerary is just as pathetic as mine!! = P

By the time we reached Tai Yuan International Airport, it was close to 6pm. We took a bus to 中孝国中 before proceeding with our “Hotel Odyssey”. We walked for almost 20 mins have still do not see our hotel insight. It was then we decided to settle for a cab. The cab ride cost NT90 which is about SGD$5. Quite reasonable considering the extra walking we are exonerated from.

We checked into Dahshin Hotel finally at about 7 plus. The hotel is quite small but it has everything. I love it. It may not look impressive on the outside but I think interior is sure to “whao” you. At least that’s how I feel. = P

Dinner was “OK”. We had Japanese food. We explored the neighboring areas and checked out the rate for KTV aka Partyworld（钱柜). Haha…. Ya, Partyworld.

We are back in hotel by 1030pm. Cannot believe that! We should be out walking and exploring or something right!??!! Haha… *fingers crossed*

I hope tomorrow would be a BETTER day! Hee…….
