Been wanting to go for a run at the MacRitchie since the start of this week and I finally got to do so.
The vessel that I have been working on is back but seems like everyone's on a holiday mood that that includes my vendor too. So, I managed to leave early again! Oh! They are taking a day off tmr so I think I shd have no trouble going for my tuition... finally...
ANyway, back to my run. It was a run to remember. Wasn't quite sure how much I wanted to run but once it got started, there was practically no end...
The brown line indicates the path I took when I got started at about 615pm. As you can see, I covered about 5.4km from my car park to the HSBC tree-top walk. Hym... Was really glad to have my ipod to keep me company. My only issue was that the ear piece was a little soaked with my perspiration and that they kept slipping out of my ears as I ran. Perhaps I need a better pair of better grip?
I got so carried away with my running that I thought I could make it back to my car before night falls. Well, I was clearly wronged... It got so dark that I had no choice but to run to the expressway and ran along the perimeter back to my car. Er... I'm not sure the distance I covered in the return trip as demarcated but the green line but I reckoned it was about 5km too? Had a couple of stops during my reutn trip as my legs were simply, terribly over-utilised...
Still, I was satisfied. I should really keep to my routine of dedicating a day for swimming, jogging and another for gym-ing. As usual, nothing lasts long for me but I shall see how long this will last.
DInner was okay, nothing special. Just looking forward to the weekends. Bum and movie!
