QC can cook, so can YOU! ... 21/09/08
Yup! I finally gotten down to having the long due cooking lesson which I have been saying. Really great to have the folks over to my place for a crash course on cooking spaghetti. What better tutelage than from Veron (spaghetti queen) and Lorraine ( "master chef" who only watches her slaves cook).
Too bad YJ had to leave early. Well, guess there's always another chance. And, thanx for the bubble tea and the bread! That was my brunch! =P
I was actually looking forward to the cooking lesson. Took my whole afternoon to look for the required cookeries coz I didn't wanna make my teachers feel that I wasn't sincere in my lesson. Haha...
Cooking is actually quite an enjoyable activity! Of cause, with the correct company that is to say.
ANyway, I promised my folks a meal after I get myself off the hook and I realized I have yet to fulfill that. So I reckon this would be a great chance to do just that. In fact, the total meal for 4 cost less than $40! ( with dessert included too!) It is definitely worth every single dime. In fact, I think our dessert was pretty cool! Gelare dark choc with Hershey's choc syrup. Simply heavenly!
Hym... Seems like my house does not has a nice dining table, those long ones? Hope my future house has one and a big kitchen too! Oh! With a big cooking stove too!
COme to think about it, being the host is actually quite an experience. Everything is great, less the washing up part. That sucks and leaves my hands with that smelly detergent odor. *Puke* Guess no host can every run away from that right? Haha...
Feel a little bad coz I kind of missed out loads of other people like Gerald etc. Shall make it up to them when my "cooking" is up to standard (which I believe will not come anytime soon!)
To my folks, hope you appreciate this simple meal. It's my way of saying "Thank you!" for all this while.
Cheers!
