Taiwan!!!

Anyway, I remember one night I was talking to my colleague when we were in Penang and he told me he grew up in the street opposite Shi Lin Night market. As the conversation went on, he asked if I've visited Yang Ming Shan during my trip in 2007. I replied with an enthusiastic "Yes!" and shared with him how my friend and I managed to get a hitch a ride from the locals and were treated to some local delicacies.

Little did I know that my colleague also loves the food there and he shared that he would make his dad bring him there everytime he visits Taipei. =)

Come to think of it, my friend and I were really very fortunate to have met the 2 aunties. They were so nice to invite us to join them for a meal then. I've truly experienced the friendliness and hospitality of Taiwanese. Ha

Auntie Xu and Auntie Xie
I think this is sweet potato soup. Haha...
The chicken was really tender and juicy...
If I ever get to revisit Taipei again, I'll definitely try these dishes again.

Well, since I'm on the topic of Taipei, I'll just drown myself in some of the pictures taken then. Haha...

Here's a few shots that my friend and I would take each day before set off for our days' of activities...
My friend and I went to KTV too! The rooms were big and spacious and each came with a little stage. Very cool! Ha! And yes, my friend is my vocal teacher. Hahha...

Some random shots:

Woo... Me in some nice hot spring in Beitou! Haha... Quite sexy right? Wahaha...

Famous ice-cream at Beitou. Haha...
Playing with the GTMs in Taipei. Could it be a sign for me to pursue a career in this line? Hahaha

Haha... I took a few pictures with the local ladies too... Hahah

With a student volunteer at some aquarium. She was there since it was the summer holiday...
With a shop assistant whom I ended up paying $50 for a pair of berms. I think I was bewitched then! Haha...

We went for a hair cut too!
Before!
After!

And, there was this night that my friend and I went clubbing. Hahha The club was much different as compared to the one I went in Penang. Much quieter and less crowded. Ha... Here's a shot I took...

FYI, I took this picture in a bookstore in the wee hours of the night. According to my friend, I was talking very loudly in the store then. And apparently, I ran several streets to this shop after our visit to the club. Hahaha...

I was clearly drunk! Hahaah....

I truly miss Taiwan...
