A good day...

Today has been a good day...

Since I was on "official" leave, and my folks were at home, we decided to drop by my granny's place...

Been a long long time since I last visited her coz I wasn't ard for this yr's CNY. I must say I miss my granny a lot. I love most of all, her cooking.

If you see the picture above, it's ikan bilis that she will always cook and boy this is one simple side-dish I cannot stop eating. In fact, I love it so much I can have a bowl of rice accompanied with just these tasty ikan bilis and peanuts. Ha!

Had a nice chat with my grand and we shared a few laughters, together with my Mum too. My granny loves to recap some of the mischevious acts of mine when I was younger and the classic is this staircase incident...

She'll always say I'm so naughty that there was once I climbed the outside of the staircase in my house and because I ended up at the end of the stairs with no where to go, all that I could do then was to shout for, "Gor-gor, Gor-gor!" then. Hahahaha...

Not sure if you could follow me on this but it is definitely a memorable incident for my granny.

Anyway, I also met up with my cousins too. They're kind of like my god-sisters since my Mum adopted them as god-daughters. They're much more tech-savvy than I was at their age; looking at youtube and playing games on FB. And, they were super up-to-date with the most popular bands and were naming me these dunno-wat Korean bands... One of them could even sing some Korean song. Haha... The generation gap is definitely highlighted. Hahaha

In summary, it's a good day spent with my folks. =)
