Today, the Indian cleaner looked a bit different when she came to clear my rubbish early in the morning.
I noticed she had those Indian mark at her forehead and I thought she looked kind of happy.
I greeted and thanked her just like any other days and to my surprise, she showed me her hand. Her hands were decorated with some faded traditional Indian hand paintings and she was beaming when she said, "I got married! Yesterday!"
Haha...
I can remember a few months ago we were in the pantry discussing about marriage and how she was lamenting on her single-hood and her having any suitor at all at that point in time. And now? =)
I'm really happy for her and it kind of made my day.
